چکیده
Global climate change is expected to cause an increase in the intensity and duration of extreme rainfall events that occur today. The leading flooding various world regions, including flat coastal areas such as Serok River catchment Kota Pontianak, influenced by tides, excessive rainfall. This article presents results analysis impact precipitation on peak discharge flood hydrographs catchment, Pontianak.Maximum daily data for 2009-2020 recorded at PTK-11 Pontianak Station were selected using Annual Maximum Series Method. Frequency was conducted best distribution method from Normal, Log Pearson Type III, Gumbel I obtain design transformed into next stage Snyder Synthetic Unit Hydrograph based several return periods. The show there are changes area each period. location land use value rain significantly affect calculation plan discharge; more significant higher intensity, greater resulting release. most considerable (Qmax) 2, 5, 10 years occurs STA 1 + 100, w.290 m3/s, 0.347 0.377 respectively. Thus, this causes periodic flooding/inundation conditions, especially have low elevations.

Estimating catchment vulnerability to diffuse herbicide losses from hydrograph statistics.
The prediction of diffuse herbicide losses to surface waters using process-based models is data and time demanding. There is a need for simpler and more efficient catchment screening tools. We developed and tested a new proxy for screening catchments for their vulnerability to diffuse herbicide losses relying on widely available river flow data only. The proxy combines the fast flow index (FFI)...
متن کاملFlood Hydrograph Estimation Using Watershed Bounded Network Model
Storage routing models are becoming more widely accepted for flood hydrograph synthesis. The network models represent a considerable advance in this direction even though these models are based on many assumptions and empirical relationships. Watershed Bounded Network Model (WBNM) is one such model. This model maintains a good relationship between the hydrological and geomorphological propertie...
متن کاملFlood Hydrograph Simulation with Uncertainty in Rainfall - Runoff Parameters
Flood hydrograph simulation is affected by uncertainty in Rainfall – Runoff )RR( parameters. Uncertainty of RR parameters in Gharasoo catchment, part of the great Karkheh river basin, is evaluated by Monte–Carlo (MC) approach. A conceptual-distributed model, called ModClark, was used for basin simulation, in which the basin’s hydrograph was determined using the superposition of runoff generated...
متن کاملDetermining the effect of physical characteristics on flood hydrograph (Case study: Western section of Jazmurian Basin)
Abstract Flood causes great and uncompressible damage to people’s life and properties as well as environment each year in Iran. This research was carried out at the west section of Jazmurian basin that placed in the southeast of Iran. In this research physical characteristics such as area (A), perimeter (Pr), average elevation of basin (av.e), average slope (av.s), gravelious coefficient (G),...
متن کامل"Technical Report" Flood Hydrograph Simulation Using HEC-HMS Model in Sarbaz River Basin of Sistan and Baluchestan Province
Hydrological models are simplified representation of the real basin system, which helps to assess basin function in response to different inputs and better understanding of hydrological processes. The HEC-HMS model is one of the most important hydrological models for Flood estimating volumes and discharge in watersheds. In this research, the HEC-HMS hydrologic model was used to simulate the ...
